It is an essential ride for skiers and snowboarders looking to access mountain trails during winter. However, it runs all year. Even if you are not skiing, you can view the beautiful scenery and enjoy activities at the top.

The Eagle Bahn Gondola leaves from Lionshead Village and climbs more than 2,000 feet. Regardless of the season, it offers stunning views of the valley. The snow-covered scenery is something to behold in winter. However, the views of colorful leaves in fall are incredible. Riders can also view fields covered with wildflowers as they ride far above during summer.
The gondola runs daily and for extended hours during the peak season. Outside peak season, the gondola may only run on certain days and for specific hours. It runs daily from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm from June 17 to September 5. From September 9 to October 2, the gondola only operates on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Tickets are $50 for adults and children over the age of 13. There is also a discount price of $42 for seniors and military. Children’s tickets cost $32. Each adult can also get one free children’s ticket for each adult ticket.
Most riders will use the gondola during winter to access the ski trails. It is the primary attraction during the season. Even if you can’t ski during summer or fall, the mountain has activities waiting at the end of the ride.
Once you get off the gondola, you can head to Epic Discovery for a day of fun and adventure. Ride the thrilling mountain roller coaster or try the zip lines. They also have tubing, mini golf, and a climbing wall. Epic Discovery is open with hours to correspond with the gondola during summer and fall.
Beyond Epic Discovery, riders can enjoy restaurants and bars at the end of the ride. Check out Talon’s Deck Outdoor Grill for delicious barbecue food. You can also go to Bistro 14 for classic American cuisine and a full bar.
